🎯 Role Summary:
As a Strategic Risk Analyst at Neftaly, you will lead efforts to identify, monitor, and analyze economic and systemic risks that may disrupt Neftaly-related industries, markets, or operations. You will develop and deliver Neftaly Economic Disruption Reports—critical documents that inform strategic decision-making for Neftaly leadership and partner organizations.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
📊 Risk Scanning & Analysis
- Conduct ongoing risk scans using data sources, news monitoring, expert interviews, and regional analysis.
- Analyze macroeconomic, political, social, technological, and environmental factors affecting Neftaly’s ecosystem.
- Monitor trends such as unemployment, education disruption, inflation, funding volatility, and regulatory shifts.
📘 Economic Disruption Reporting
- Compile and publish quarterly and ad-hoc Economic Disruption Reports tailored to specific sectors, geographies, or clients.
- Use data visualization and infographics to communicate complex risk data clearly.
- Include actionable insights, scenario models, and strategic recommendations in each report.
🧩 Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Neftaly’s advisory, training, and policy teams to ensure findings are integrated into solutions.
- Present findings to internal and external stakeholders via briefings, webinars, or policy roundtables.
🛠 Tools & Methodology
- Use PESTLE, SWOT, heat mapping, and forecasting models to support structured risk intelligence.
- Utilize platforms like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R for data analytics and visualizations.
✅ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Political Science, Risk Management, Development Studies, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in risk analysis, economic research, or strategic consulting
- Strong understanding of macroeconomic dynamics, particularly in emerging markets and development sectors
- Exceptional analytical writing and data storytelling skills
- Experience working with NGOs, governments, or international development agencies is a plus
- Familiarity with ESG, SDG, or public policy frameworks is advantageous
💼 Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of early warning systems, global risk indices (WEF, IMF, UNDP)
- Project management experience in reporting cycles
- Proficiency with data mining, media monitoring, or GIS tools is a plus
